Named First is a Borough Web Works company
Borough Web Works is a small GTA web studio that builds websites for local businesses. Named First is the part of that work built around one question: when a homeowner asks an AI assistant for a contractor, does it name you, and is what it says right?
Owner-operated in Ontario. No account managers or call centres: you deal directly with the person doing the work.

FAQ
Common questions
Is this just SEO?
It overlaps with SEO, but the goal is different. SEO is about ranking in a list of links. This is about whether an AI assistant names you in its answer and describes you correctly. Many of the fixes are the same basics done carefully: accurate listings, a clear website, consistent details everywhere.
How long does it take?
The audit report usually arrives within a few business days of booking. Fix-It Setup work is usually done within a few weeks. Some assistants pick up changes quickly and others take longer, which is why we re-check and date every result.
Do I need a new website?
Usually not. Most fixes are to listings, your Google Business Profile and a few details on your existing site. If your site is genuinely holding you back, the audit will say so plainly, and you can decide what to do.
Can you guarantee I'll be named?
No. Nobody controls what an AI assistant says, and anyone promising a guaranteed spot is guessing. What we can do is find the reasons you're being left out or described wrong, fix them, and show you dated results.
What if the AI tools change?
They will. That's why the audit records exactly what we asked and when, and why Monthly Visibility re-runs the same checks each month. The fundamentals (accurate, consistent information about your business) hold up across changes.
I'm outside the GTA. Can you still help?
Yes, anywhere in Ontario. Everything is done remotely, and we run the checks for the towns you actually serve.
I'm a plumber or electrician. Is this for me?
We're starting with roofing and HVAC, with plumbing and electrical next. Send the form anyway and we'll tell you honestly whether we can help yet.
How does the audit credit work?
If you start Fix-It Setup within 30 days of your audit, the $199 you paid comes off the $499, so you pay $300 plus HST for the setup.
Can I cancel Monthly Visibility?
Yes. It's month-to-month with no long-term contract. Cancel anytime and it stops at the end of the current month.
